A new poster from Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming actioner Ground Zero was unveiled by the makers on Thursday. Directed by Tejas Deoskar, known for helming the 2018 Madhuri Dixit starrer Marathi film, Bucket List, Ground Zero is backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment.

In the poster, Emraan holds a rifle with his back to us. Behind him, there are visuals of a burning valley with smokes of fire going off. Above Emraan, a sentence is engraved in Hindi on the wall that reads, “Tujhe laayi yahan teri maut fauji, Kashmir ka badla lega tera Gazi (Your death has brought you here soldier, Kashmir’s revenge will be taken by Gazi)”.

Sharing the poster, Farhan wrote in caption, “A mission etched in history. Ground Zero arrives in theaters on 25th April, 2025.”

Ground Zero follows Emraan’s character, a Deputy Commandant in the Border Security Force (BSF), as he leads a two-year-long investigation into a high-stakes national security threat. The film is inspired by an untold battle that remained hidden from the public eye, and brings to light BSF’s best operation in the last 50 years, which was officially awarded in 2015.

Emraan had announced the wrap up of the film about three years back in November, 2022. As per a press release shared by the makers, the film’s teaser will be attached with shows of Salman Khan’s upcoming actioner Sikandar, which is releasing in theatres on March 30.

Ground Zero is scheduled to hit the big screen on April 25, 2025.
